Hailing from Lagos, Nigeria, the Chapman drink is a mocktail and or cocktail rumoured to have been created during the 1950’s in the prestigious Ikoyi Country Club. Traditionally, its made with Orange Soda, Lemon Soda, Blackcurrant Cordial (Or Grenadine), Angostura Bitters & Cucumber Slices. It was skilfully crafted by a bartender for his favourite British patron known simply as “Mr Chapman". Since then, it has spread to become a popular drink in West Africa, served at all occasions.
